Mixing ratio : 100 gr powder : 18 ml liquid
Mixing time : by hand till all powder is wetted 60 sec. under vacuum
Working time : ca. 3 - 4 min.
Setting time : ca. 30 min.
Chem. Expansion : ca. 1,9 - 2,1 % ( 100 % liquid )
Liquid concentration : ca. 70 - 80 % for the model
For the filling of the cylinder 100 % water (no liquid) can be used
After 30 min. you can immediately start waxing when silicone duplicating
material was used ! ( in case of hydrocoloid see below )
After waxing is finished you can mix investment using only water, pour up the cylinder,
wait for 15 - 20 minutes and put immediately in furnace at end temp. of 950°C.
The cylinder should stay in the furnace for one hour so the investment can get to its
maximal expansion for perfect fit.
After casting and cooling, the investment can be easily removed from the casting.
IMPORTANT :
It is possible to do the rapid cast direct at end temperature at any time after
the investment became hard ( even hours later )
The MG-Vest can of course also be used for normal preheating technique.
Special notes :
When using hydrocolloids use only 16 ml of liquid to a 100 gr. Powder !
